A London-wide partnership that aims to improve the lives of Londoners who are experiencing, or at risk of, financial exclusion and debt. The aim of the project is to provide specialist face-to-face debt advice at our Bermondsey and Peckham offices.

Thames Water Money Advice Project

Support for customers struggling to pay their bills through drop in sessions and appointments with a debt advisor.

Pound Advice Rent Arrears Project

Pound Advice is a face-to-face advice service for L&Q residents. It can help those that have debt issues or who are looking for help in making the most of their money.

Homesearch Bidding Support
Drop-In

Thursday 10am - 1pm 

Assistance with completing Housing Registration Forms, online bidding and change of circumstance.

Carers Advice

Advice and support for anyone caring for an adult, or child with disabilities.

London South Bank University Money Advice Outreach Project

Working in partnership with London South Bank University we provide debt and money advice at the Student Centre of LSBU.

Energy Projects in Southwark

Citizens Advice Southwark is home to one of the few Energy Champions in the country, promoting energy awareness and savings across the borough. Appointments are available to assist clients to get the best fuel deal, benefit checks and energy saving tips.
We also deliver energy saving sessions to consumers and frontline workers across the borough.

Aylesbury Estate Residents Drop-In

Drop in advice sessions for residents on issues such as welfare benefits and housing. Residents can be referred for specialist help with immigration, housing or family law.

 


 

Trust for London Specialist Immigration Advice

We provide immigration advice at generalist level to people who live, work or study in Southwark. We also have a specialist Immigration caseworker, funded by Trust for London, who is accredited at OISC levels 2 & 3 and can offer a service to clients who have more complex Immigration issues and Bromley.

Macmillan & Dimbleby Welfare Benefits Advice Project

We provide advice on welfare benefits and other sources of financial help to people affected by cancer. We can assist on a number of issues such as; applying for benefits, benefits appeals, tax credits, health costs, accessing charitable grants, transport and housing costs.

Southwark Council Homeowners

The service is for residential property owners with a lease from Southwark Council. We can provide advice on issues related to; excessive service charges, standard of council works is not acceptable and neglect.

     

Southwark Legal Advice Network

Co-ordinated by Citizens Advice Southwark in partnership with local advice agencies and funded by the Big Lottery. The aim is to improve access to quality assured advice services and self help information in Southwark for people in greatest need.

Forum for Equalities & Human Rights (FEHRS)

Citizens Advice Southwark funded by London Borough of Southwark to provide a critical friend to the council around equality and human rights issues, and support the delivery and development of equalities and human rights in Southwark.

Money Savvy Southwark

Support around money issues for Southwark council tenants and housing association tenants living in the borough.
